I'm Jasmine, the Founder and CEO of Trinkets & Pieces. Thank you for supporting a female-founded small business. We are so excited for you to try our products! I started Trinkets & Pieces in January 2021 and have slowly watched it grow from just badges to so much more.

​

I grew up on the southside of Chicago where creativity and being outstanding is a must. I attended U of I in Urbana-Champaign where I majored in Biology. From there, I received my Associates in nursing at Daley College. I began my nursing career at LCMMC in 2014 as a medical-surgical nurse. I then made the bold move in 2016 to transition to the critical care unit to further my skills because I knew I wanted to be a nurse practitioner.

While working in the critical care unit, I noticed how all of the nurses looked the same and I was determined to stand out. Whether it was from having a cute badge to my wild compression socks, I always received compliments on my different style. And now, I want to bring this love of creativity and individuality to all of my customers.

After graduating from my RN to MSN program as magna cum laude and becoming the first African American female Interventional Radiology Nurse Practitioner at LCMCC, I decided to pour my heart into expanding Trinkets & Pieces,
